This weekend I checked another Charleston event off my to do list! I joined my friend Michelle and her husband at the food and wine festival. At first we were a little hesitant to pay $75 to taste wine and food, but I am glad we decided to do it! It was amazing! First off we walked around the exhibits watching southern cooking shows and tasting various dishes from culinary chefs from around the area. It was all the food and wine you could eat and drink. They had various wines from around the area and bordering states. The food was a variety of bar be que, dessserts, and southern cuisines. This could have been really bad for me, but I was able to handle it! There was just so much food to fill me up and wine to polish it all off!
