This past weekend we went to Sonora and visited the caverns there. Sonora is about 90 miles northwest of Del Rio. They were really neat. I had never been to a cavern before. Chad has been in San Antonio at Natural Bridge Caverns. Apparently it's very different from Natural Bridge because Sonoora Caverns is still 90 percent active. It was just really nice to get away for a day. Not much else to do in Sonora, but the caverns were fun! We had lunch in the back of the car while we waited to go on our tour. By the time we were finished with the tour we were sweaty and thirsty. The 2 hour tour at 97% humidity and about 70 degrees wiped us out! :)
