Trip to Greenville and WICKED

A much needed vacation from everything!! We were able to head up to Greenville, which is about 3 hours away from Charleston, for some food, fun, and WICKED!! I have been wanting to see this musical for quite some time, so when Chad bought tickets for us to go, I was very excited! We absolutely loved it--a must see!

We stayed downtown on Main Street which was really nice because everything was right there. We were able to walk to the play and to any of the restaurants we wanted to eat at! Although it was in the upper 20's and rainy, we enjoyed our weekend! On Friday, we left early because I took the day off, so we were able to enjoy a nice dinner at Soby's (wonderful!) where we had some she crab soup and I enjoyed some wonderful crab cakes! From there we were able to walk to the play.

Then on Saturday we decided to walk around downtown and enjoy the shops, as well as Reedy River Falls, which was nice. It was a very rainy day, and we forgot our umbrella that morning, so needless to say we had to walk back in the pouring rain! Not so much fun! We then decided to drive out to the Blue Ridge Mountains to see some much needed snow! We haven't been able to see this in quite some time--since we haven't been able to go skiing in a while! Anyway, we enjoyed wonderful views driving through the moutains and stop at to grab a snack and drink--also to play in the snow! We thought about driving over to Asheville, but decided against it! Too bad we didn't check out and stay the night in Asheville! That night we enjoyed an Italian dinner and had dessert at Marble Slab!!

Finally on Sunday we headed out around lunch time and drove a few miles to eat at PF Changs, boy have I missed that place! After we ate lunch, we headed home from our great weekend!!
